implantation, delimitation, demarcation, tabulation, organization

Territory is no doubt the geographical notion, but it’s first of all a judicio-political one: the area controlled by a certain kind of power. Field is a economico-judicial tradition traditional notion. Displacement: what displaces itself is an army, a squadron, a population. Domain is a judicio-political notion. Soil is a historicao-geological notion. Region is a fiscal, administrative, military notion. Horizon is a pictorial, but also a strategic notion. There is only one notion here that is truly geographical, that of a archipelago.”

What’s all this?

I've created this site to document and share research and activities related to my Masters of Arts program. It's partially a blog, partially a journal, partially whatever you want it to be. Feel free to have a good look around at what I'm reading, seeing, writing and thinking about. I'd love to see/hear your comments.
